Just when you think you've seen it all from Kierstan Bell, she's there to dazzle you once again. people have already dubbed her "She-Bron" a reference to her as the female Lebron James. Rutegers Head coach & former Olympic coach Vivian Stringer called her the best women's basketball player she's ever seen! Whatever you call her, just know that she when steps on a court you just may witness something special. She delivered again last night. Bell poured in 46 pts against Lebron's alma mater St Vincent St Mary and did it with style and flair. Bell made layups, shot mid range jumpers, and buried several deep three's. She also dazzled us with her passing. Her last assist a behind the back pass off a fast break for a layup. The reigning Gatorade player of the year in Ohio averaged 33.4 points, 10 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 5.1 steals and 1.3 blocks per game last season as a junior. Bell, who already holds the McKinley records for points in a game (53), season (833) and career (2,104), and a two time MS Basketball Ohio who will probably win a 3rd has only one thing missing from her resume. A State Championship. With that squarely in her sights, it seems to be her sole focus as the season rolls on. With what we've seen from Kierstan so far it seems as though she just may accomplish that as well! Stay tuned.
